Okinawa Beaches

The best thing about Okinawa is its beaches… so serene and relaxing. Okinawa extends 1000 km away from the southernmost part of Kyushu and 100 km east of Taiwan. Some of its beaches are set in a secluded area and others are very easy to find. The most-talked about beaches in Okinawa are Manza Beach, Moon Beach and the Okuma Beach.

Manza Beach- its unique and picturesque long stretch of white sand and crystal clear blue waters echoes serenity and comfort. Manza Beach is the popular beaches in Okinawa. Hokkaido is the second largest island in the Land of the Rising Sun wherein it sprawls at a total land area of 83,453.57 km². Enjoy the smooth sand and get perfect tan at the beaches of Hokkaido.

Honshu Beaches

Honshu translates as Main Island and considered as the largest island in Japan. It is where the highest point in Japan, Mt. Fuji sits and is composed of 98,352,000 as of 1990 estimation. Visiting Honshu is not complete without swimming in its attractive beaches.

Kemigawahama- a must-see beach that is perfect for kite surfing and wind surfing. Adventurers who have thirst for extreme or enthralling water sports activities mostly visit it.


Kyushu Beaches

An idyllic haven for those people who want to get out from the noises of big cities and crowded metropolis. Travelers, expats and locals frequent most beaches in Kyushu because they offer plenty of water sports e.g. surfing or diving and recreational activities. Kyushu is perfectly situated near the Korean peninsula and other parts of Japan, thus hopping from one destination to another one is certainly convenient.

Aoshima Beach- immense beaches and waves, indeed Aioshima Beach in Miyazaki, Japan is the surfer’s destination. In addition, the scenic sunset and sunrise at Aoshima Beach create a romantic and composed environment that is perfect when you chill out.

Keya Beach- nestles in Itoshima peninsula at Fukuoka, Japan, Keya Beach offers pleasant and serene ambiance. If you love waves, surfers can also catch a decent wave during autumn.

Tohoku Beaches

In the beautiful region of Tohoku, which literally means “northeast” in Japanese lies one of the nicest beaches in the country. Its sheer beauty comes from the backwoods and well-preserved nature. The beaches in Tohoku offer a close to perfect pristine white sand and lucid seawaters.

Jodogohama Beach- a must stop and must visit beach wherein the crystal clear waters alone entices you to swim and have fun in the sun.

Kamakura Beaches

This coastal town in Kanagawa Prefecture was used to be called as Renpu. Kamakura houses some of the largest beaches in the country. It is just a step away from Kamakura Station. During summer months, the beaches in Kamakura are very popular-- locals from neighboring cities and foreigners flee in here.

Zaimokuza Beach- the most-talked about beach resort in Kamakura where you can enjoy a leisurely walk, swim in its enticing waters and breathe the brackish tang of the ocean.

Yuigahama Beach- it is heavily visited especially on hot days wherein you can see hordes of sunbathers, surfers and beach bums.

Koshigoe Beach- an awesome wonder that is suitable for a holiday escapade and sightseeing

Kyuka-mura Shikanoshima Beach
