*There are numerous international flights operate to and from Cambodia that will touchdown in the airports of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. The lists below are some of the following airlines flying to and from Cambodia.

  1. Vietnam Airlines
    The national flag carrier of Vietnam serving 18 domestic and 38 international flights including Cambodia. It is founded in 1956 as Vietnam Civil Aviation. With the rapid increase of their passengers and stable financial situation, Vietnam Airlines is planning to increase its fleet size and destinations.

  2. China Airlines
    With a hub in Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, China Airlines currently flies in the countries of Asia, Europe, North America and the South Pacific. It is the flag carrier of the Republic of China in which it offers four classes of services e.g. First Class and Dynasty Supreme Class. China Airlines should not be confused with Air China, the national airline of People’s Republic of China.

  3. Lao Airlines
    Founded in 1976 with Wattay International Airport as its main hub, Lao Airlines is the national airline of Laos. It operates its domestic services to 10 destinations and international flights including Cambodia. The airline is completely owned by the Government of Laos with Dr. Somphone Douangdara as the president.

  4. SilkAir
    “Where the world unwinds” is the company’s slogan. The airline was founded in 1989 as Tradewinds but it was later changed. SilkAir flies to 26 destinations across the world wherein Singapore is its main headquarter. The business class are provided with DigEplayer as their in-flight entertainment.

  5. Eva Airways
    Is an affiliate of Evergreen Marine-- is a containerized-freight shipping company based in Taipei, Taiwan. It serves around 45 cities around the world. Eva Airways is Taiwan’s second largest airline that started its operations on July 1, 1991.

  6. Malaysia Airlines
    One of the five airlines that has a 5-star rating by Skytrax. Malaysia Airlines began flying on May 1, 1947 as Malayan Airways but changed it on November 1963 to its present name. This first-class airline is the national airline of Malaysia in which it flies to over 100 destinations all over the world.

  7. Dragonair
    The second largest airline in Hong Kong next to Cathay Pacific that was established in May 1985. Dragonair operates in 35 destinations across the Asia-Pacific region and also operates cargo to Europe, Middle East and Japan. Its main hub is in Hong Kong International Airport.

  8. Bangkok Airways
    Serves more than 20 destinations in seven countries which aims to be the first Asia’s boutique airline. This regional airline based in Bangkok flies to 24 destinations throughout the world. Bangkok Airways began scheduled services in 1968 as Sahakol Air.

Getting Around


By land

  1. Bus
    This type of transportation is ideal for long journeys from the bigger cities to provinces. There are few bus companies providing convenient transport to the travelers since the buses are equipped with television and air-conditioning. The bus stations are usually located in the local square market or around Phsa Thmey area.

  2. Train
    Usually trains in Cambodia are over-crowded, thus you must arrive early. Riding trains is ideal if you are not in a hurry since it travels very slowly. Nowadays, the only passenger train in the country travels from Phnom Penh to Battambang is scheduled every other day and be back on alternate days.

  3. Motorcycle Taxis
    It is ubiquitous since there are no metered taxis in the country. This motorcycle taxi is used for quick trips across or around town and only cost cheaply.

  4. Pick-up truck
    Offers cheap transports in any parts of Cambodia. Traveling in this unique transportation is another exciting moment that you can add in your list of experiences. The trucks will only leave when it is full in which bumping shoulders with other passengers is common.

  5. Shared Taxi
    A good and practical way to save extra dollars or riels. You can find one around Central Market and remember use your bargaining skills.

  6. Tuk-tuk
    Or also known as tricycle motor which is frequently ride by some tourists. It is found anywhere in the city with low-cost price.

By Water

Boat
There are numerous boat companies available in the country equipped with TV, toilet and video providing you with great comfort and convenience. Boats are available in two types in which you will have the benefit of seeing stunning sceneries.
